Kooky and funny he can
always make me smile
Incredibly good looking
yet not conceited
Reeking with an
air of dignity
yet ever so kind
Keeps to himself
but knows how to have fun
Making his dreams come true
he
pushes himself hard
Challenging the world
to fulfill his goal
Forever the optimist
and he has every reason
to be
Even though I've cared for him
for many years
Everyone but him
knows my feelings
If he knew, it might scare him away
but it might also change his mind
I don't want to scare him away
If only
he'd return the feelings in kind
If he figures it out
and doesn't feel the same
I hope we will still go on
as
we are and forget he ever knew
But if his feelings
are the same as mine
I hope we can progress our friendship
